AirPort Update for Core Duo MacBooks,
MacBook Pros Released
Apple has released AirPort Extreme Update 2007-001. The software update, for Core Duo-powered MacBooks and MacBook Pros, addresses a security vulnerable that Apple describes thusly:
An out-of-bounds memory read may occur while handling wireless frames. An attacker in local proximity may be able to trigger a system crash by sending a maliciously-crafted frame to an affected system. This issue affects the Core Duo version of Mac mini, MacBook, and MacBook Pro computers equipped with wireless.
The human-language version of this is that the update fixes a security vulnerability. The update is a 6.5 MB download available on this page at Apple.com.
