Sprint Lets MacBook Pro Owners Get Online
with New ExpressCard
Posted on February 1st, 2007 by Simon
Gearlog has the exciting news that Sprint will soon begin selling a Mac-compatible EV-DO Rev A ExpressCard. Though not cheap at $180–and that’s with a two-year agreement–, for those of you using Sprint and wanting wireless internet access, this will mean one less dongle in your life, and nobody likes an extraneous dongle. One cool feature of the card is using the built-in GPS to find restaurants, gas stations, etc., though it’s not clear if that works with Macs, or if well get short shrift and have to settle for just having drivers.
