Vodafone to be British iPhone carrier?

T3 is sporting some speculation about Vodafone offering the iPhone to British customers based on a Google Maps connection to the carrier. With an agreement in place between Google and Vodafone to offer the mapping service to their customers’ handsets, the iPhone is now seeming like a logical extension of the deal. Word of an official agreement between Apple and a British carrier is still expected to be months away, but this could be the first hint.
