iPhone name negotiations extended through Wednesday
Posted on February 18th, 2007 by Simon
We haven’t spent a lot of time on the whole iPhone name legal controversy, mainly because Apple usually gets what it wants in this area (probably how we ended up with clever product names like MacBook and MacBook Pro), but we thought it worthy of mention that the negotiating deadline has been extended until the 21st of February. Of course, this deadline will likely be extended yet again if an agreement isn’t reached in time, so there’s no need to panic, but it does seem inevitable that one way or another, Apple will get to use the iPhone name.
