We came across these photos on Flickr and just had to share, as they’re just unbelievable. According to the story, some muggers in Brazil shot at the bag of their victim, hitting the MacBook Pro contained within.

Pretty amazing to hit the narrow edge of the machine, and not only that, but pretty amazing that the MacBook Pro is still running. Maybe Apple should create an ad campaign based on the old padlock ads?

There was a time in Apple history when new PowerBooks were tested by such systematic methods as driving a car over them to see if they still functioned afterwards. While it’s hard for modern, light notebooks to match the tank notebooks of the past, it’s nice to see they’ll at least take a bullet for you!

Now, if only Apple’s notebooks featured immunity against Dr. Pepper spills…Anyone else have survival stories to share?
