Both Gizmodo and Gadgeteer have reviews of an interesting take on the laptop stand. Instead of a pedestal or lift on your desk, the LapDawg is for use in bed or on a couch, providing stability on a soft cushion or mattress. Though not cheap at $80, if you like having breakfast in bed, but don’t want to sacrifice your computer time, it might be a worthwhile investment.

Computerworld has another one of their editorials, this time discussing why the Apple TV will be more important than the iPhone. Hard to imagine at this point, given all the hardware and content limitations, but food for thought.

Last, the New York Times has a story on AT&T’s new strategy to build better retail stores. As the article correctly notes, it appears AT&T wants to imitate Apple’s retail philosophy (and success) in its new stores, making a purchase or experience that can currently be quite daunting into something enjoyable for the consumer.
