Sony CEO talks iPhone, iPod

Australian website Smarthouse has a fascinating story on an interview with the head of Sony. CEO Howard Stringer talks quite a bit about Apple-related topics, such as the iPod and iPhone and the competition with Sony’s own efforts in the music player and phone arenas. Whether Sony understands even now what it needs to do to be successful with music players seems open to debate, but the Sony Ericsson partnership has been more fruitful, and the rivalry between the iPhone and SE phones could be interesting. Beleaguered Sony makes for some interesting reading here.
