Engadget was kind enough to clue those of us who don’t read the ol’ nihongo that Toshiba Matsushita has announced seven new LED displays, with the largest coming in at 13.3-inches. Something about that size rings a bell…Perhaps Apple could make use of such a beast in the MacBook? The bare specs on the 13.3-inch model: 4W of power, 1280×800 (WXGA) resolution, and 300cd/m2 for brightness. Not bad, not bad. If the meek won’t inherit the earth, can us MacBook owners at least get some LED LCDs, Apple?
