WaterField Designs announces the flexible Sling

Our friends at WaterField Designs sent us this note about a new bag on offer from them, the Sling:

San Francisco, CA, April 9, 2007 – WaterField Designs, a leading maker of bags and custom-fitted cases for digital gear, introduces a stylish and versatile tote to meet the needs of busy, fashion-conscious consumers. The colorful Sling Bag is available in three sizes and functions as a work, travel, gym, diaper or day bag. The new bag is fashioned from a unique metallic-like material and is available in five vibrant colors.

The durable Sling Bag is water-resistant and machine washable. It comes with a matching adjustable shoulder strap that gently suspends the load to make it feel lighter. Sturdy, black metal hardware attaches the strap to the bag for a solid feel.

The cavernous main compartment includes five secured interior pockets to keep items separate and organized. Two exterior pockets at either end are tapered to prevent items from falling out. YKK zippers with dual sliders secure the wide top opening, allowing easy access to the main compartment from either end. Matching gear pouches are available to further organize personal items inside the Sling. They can be clipped to a leashed caribiner, located near the end pockets for easy retrieval.

“This bag was designed for versatility and comfort,” said Gary Waterfield, company founder. “It expands and contracts depending on the amount of gear put inside. The shoulder strap is grippy so it stays planted on my shoulder, and makes the bag feel comfortable no matter what I carry.”

The Sling is available now from WaterField Designs, with prices coming in at $99 for the small, $129 for the medium, and $139 for the large.
