If you’re looking for a laptop stand, CNet has reviewed Griffin Technology’s Elevator notebook stand, which gets high marks for its appearance and simple assembly. The predecessor to the Elevator, the iCurve, was reviewed by us, too.
In the realm of extreme (with a capital X) protection, CrunchGear has a review of the RhinoSkin for the 13-inch MacBook. This is some hardcore protection, not to mention a hardcore fashion statement, making the photos a worthwhile addition to the review.
Lastly, a new product called The Fin caught our eye. The aluminum accessory comes in sizes for 12-inch, 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch Apple portables, and attaches to the underside of your notebook, creating a handle while carrying, but lifting the machine when on a flat surface, providing better ergonomics and airflow. We’re not sure if we’re going to risk taking a screwdriver to one of our machines to try it out, but it’s a cool idea.
