We don’t know what Gizmodo’s track record is like on Apple rumors, but they’re generally a pretty reliable site, so let’s hope they’re right about their rumor of new MacBooks coming next week. We haven’t heard anything ourselves, but it seems rather surprising that the consumer-targeted MacBooks would move to the Santa Rosa platform before the MacBook Pros. The generally-accurate AppleInsider believes that it will be the MacBook Pro which gets Santa Rosa first, in the second quarter of the year. With additional rumors of the MBP moving to LED LCDs in time for WWDC, could we be seeing a significant update to the lineup soon?
