Vodafone getting aced out of iPhone in Europe?
For months now, Vodafone has been speculated as the heavy favorite to land iPhone exclusivity in Europe, but the mobile carrier might not be the lock many thought. Vodafone offers the largest network in Europe, but T-Mobile apparently provides a better opportunity for Apple to sell music to iPhone users purchasing songs off iTunes. It could still be some time before a decision is reached, as Apple has all the leverage and can essentially watch Vodafone and T-Mobile jump through hoops to prove they deserve the contract. Of course, for those several European countries that have neither T-Mobile nor Vodafone, there are even more unanswered questions.
